Here's our first newsletter. If you have suggestions for lineart, tutorials, or programs to feature, please message us! (please don't nominate your own art.)

News

Just a few reminders on some new rules for the group:

First, Please do not accept your own submissions. Please have patience for someone else to accept them. I promise your submission will be reviewed in a timely fashion.
Secondly, we've decided to go back to our roots and no longer accept any lineart that is NOT free. So, the not free or pay to use folder will be removed.
Please note we DO NOT accept any sort of Your character Here (Ych) as per the above rule.
To join the group as part of the members, you must link three equine linearts you have done in the past three months in your join request.

Program Feature

I found this amazing free art program Medibang Paint pro. I've tried alot of art programs, both free and paid, but this one is my favorite.
It has feature in it that helps steady your lines as you're drawing. It also has a selection of brushes you can download from their cloud. My favorite is the marker. That's what I normally use when coloring.

If you're an artist on the go, you can create an account and upload your art so you can get it on their phone or tablet apps.

They have a page here on DA. They are extremely helpful when you ask a question. There's also a variety of tutorials in the group.
The main (and only) drawback I've found so far is that blending seems to not be as smooth and easy as in other programs.
Anybody else used this program? What do you think of it?
